Greg Dowling is Chief Investment Officer and Head of Research at FEG Investment Advisors, an independent investment consulting and OCIO provider with primarily nonprofit clients throughout the United States.
Greg joined FEG in 2004 and focuses on managing the day-to-day activities of the Research department. Greg chairs FEG’s Investment Policy Committee, which approves all manager recommendations and provides oversight on strategic asset allocations and capital market assumptions. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team and Risk Committee. Greg also hosts the FEG Insight Bridge Podcast, where he speaks with some of the world’s leading investment, economic, and philanthropic minds.
Greg received his MBA from Xavier University. He received his BSBA from the University of Cincinnati, where he also served as an adjunct professor and was the 2019 recipient of the Outstanding Adjunct Teaching in Finance Award. Greg has been a CFA charterholder since 2006 and a CAIA charterholder since 2007.
In 2018, Greg was named Hedge Fund Consultant of the Year by Institutional Investor. (He was a finalist for the honor in both 2015 and 2017.) Greg was named one of the 2015 Knowledge Brokers by Chief Investment Officer magazine, and is a frequent conference presenter and has been quoted in various media outlets.
